Drive wheel for lift truck EPS12, 210 mm

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR), we present below the safety rules for the use of wheels and rollers for pallet trucks.

Application

Wheels and rollers are running or drive components of manual and electric pallet trucks, providing load capacity, stability, and safe load transport.

Installation and mounting

• Install only with the pallet truck secured and stationary, on a stable surface.
• Use parts that fully match the manufacturer’s specification (dimensions, material, load rating).
• After installation, verify free rotation and ensure no rubbing against chassis components.

Operation

• Use on suitable floors; avoid sharp edges and severe unevenness that may damage treads or bearings.
• Do not overload — respect the pallet truck and wheel/roller load ratings.
• Inspect running surfaces and bearings regularly; replace damaged or excessively worn parts immediately.

Operating conditions

• Use only in intended environments (e.g., dry warehouse floors). Avoid extreme moisture, chemicals, or very low temperatures unless specified by the manufacturer.

Maintenance

• Remove dirt (dust, oil, debris) and check bearings routinely.
• Lubricate bearings as required per manufacturer instructions.
• Check fasteners and re-tighten periodically; looseness can lead to failures.

Transport and storage

• Store in a dry, clean place, away from moisture and aggressive substances.
• Protect from impacts and deformation during transport.

Disposal

Worn or damaged wheels/rollers should be taken to an appropriate metal/plastic recycling point. Do not dispose of with household waste.
