Solid tires

Tires for forklifts are significantly different from the typical ones found in passenger vehicles. These differences primarily stem from their construction and purpose. Forklift tires often have to perform in very challenging conditions. Forklifts are industrial vehicles, so they frequently operate on surfaces other than asphalt or concrete, and they often carry substantial loads on each axle.

In the most extreme conditions, solid tires, which are tubeless but entirely filled with rubber, are the best choice. Forklifts equipped with this type of tire are much less susceptible to damage such as punctures, tears, or cracks. Machine stability is also improved when using solid tires, as air pressure doesn't fluctuate as it does with pneumatic tires. In our product range, you can find models of solid tires from manufacturers like Wonray, Globum, and Goodride.

The installation of solid tires can vary depending on the type of rim. In the case of the Standard version, this type of tire is mounted on a split rim consisting of two halves. It requires the use of a safety ring. In the case of the Quick version, solid tires have a special bead, known as the "nose." It is pressed onto a non-split rim with the help of a hydraulic press.
