CHECK CARRIAGE CLASS COMPATIBILITY

SELECT PROFILE DIMENSIONS ACCORDING TO LOAD SIZE

VERIFY FORK LENGTH IN RELATION TO REQUIRED SUPPORT SURFACE

Before selecting forklift forks, you should confirm the carriage class according to ISO 2328, as the forks are available in versions 2A or 3A. The difference concerns the height and spacing of the mounting hooks: in class 2A the distance between the upper and lower hook is approx. 407 mm, while in class 3A approx. 508 mm. This value must be verified by measuring the forklift carriage (between the upper and lower hook), checking the nameplate, or consulting the technical documentation. Choosing the wrong class prevents safe fork installation.
Before replacement, the technical condition of the existing forks should also be assessed. Forks must be replaced if their thickness in the working area has decreased by approximately 10% compared to the nominal dimension, if they show cracks in the hook area or at the heel, or exhibit permanent deformation or twisting of the profile. Cross-section wear leads to an actual reduction in forklift load capacity and may be questioned during a UDT inspection.
No. Forks should be replaced in pairs to ensure even load distribution and forklift stability.
In case of permanent deformation, breakage, twisting, or significant cross-section wear. Damaged forks should not be used further.
Classes 2A and 3A are designations according to the ISO 2328 standard, which defines the dimensions and spacing of forklift fork mounting hooks. In class 2A, the distance between the upper and lower hook is approx. 407 mm, while in class 3A approx. 508 mm. The carriage class must match the fork class to ensure proper and safe installation.
Yes. A locking pin is included with the forks to prevent them from slipping off the forklift.
