Application

The starter motor is part of the starting system of a forklift with a combustion engine. Its function is to start the engine by turning the crankshaft. A properly functioning starter motor is essential for starting the vehicle.

Usage rules

• Use only in the forklift models and engines for which it is intended.
• Installation should be carried out by a qualified mechanic in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Before starting work, disconnect the battery and secure the electrical system.
• After installation, check the wiring and test the starter motor under safe conditions.

Precautions

• Do not use a starter motor with visible damage or burn marks.
• Avoid short circuits, loose connections, and installation in damp environments.
• Incorrect wiring may damage the starter motor or the electrical system.
• If malfunctions occur (slow cranking, grinding noises, no response), stop use immediately and perform an inspection.
